So, Vibeke left the Simski house to marry the Sim of her

dreams and live in a totally different hood.

Everyone missed her but they were also very happy for her.

Life went on and the Simski siblings continued to work hard 

and gain those skills for job promotions.

And it was on one of those days where Jess came home

with a sweet promotion at her job, she also brought home a new friend.

Little did she know, this new friend would change her life.

Who is this friend you ask?

Well, let me tell you - 

His name is Patrick O'Shannon.

Patrick is a Libra and his LTW is to be a General in the Military.

Patrick is the youngest sibling in the O'Shannon Family,

another founding family in Winterwind.

They are a big, close-knit family that has endured many struggles 

along the way. Even though they don't have a lot of money -

they are rich with loyalty to one other and they posses a stern determination to make it

as they work tirelessly as a team to rise above - and it pays off for them too!

As each year passes, things get better and better.

But Patrick was never quite as ambitious as his older siblings who

knew from the start what they wanted to do with their lives. 

Maybe it was because he was the baby of the family, 

but Patrick struggled a lot in trying to figure out where he fit in.

And it's not that he was lazy or anything - far from that!

 It's just that Patrick preferred to hang out at home and work on old cars.

Which he would sell and make decent money from. 

But working on the cars wasn't enough in the long run and he found himself

 going from job to job, not really too excited about any of them.

After leaving yet another job, Patrick found himself having to explain,

 once again, to his older siblings why he quit another job and he really hated that.

His older brother Sean, a cop, was very upset with Patrick upon finding out

and told him, quite angrily, that he should join the Military and learn some discipline!

Patrick's older brother, Sean, Sean's son, Liam, (who is in college now), and Patrick's

older sister, Tara, who's dream is to become City Planner

Sean's advice didn't fall on deaf ears with Patrick. 

He thought long and hard about committing to a Military career

and the more he thought about it, the more he liked the idea.

After visiting a recruitment center he was totally hooked 

and joined the Military right there on the spot!

Long story short -

It was the best decision Patrick ever made and he loves Military life.

And his family, especially his brother, Sean, couldn't be more proud of him.

So, on this day that Jess brings him home from work with her -

Patrick is in a real good and secure place in his life.

Only thing missing was a special Sim to share the happiness.

Patrick was attracted to Jess instantly!

They really hit it off.

And Jess was so smitten with Patrick that she did this!

A Love Match made right in front of the Simski house.

They made plans to get together for a date that very night.

Unfortunately I don't have photos of the date,

but below you can see how their first date ended.

It was very much a Dream Date.

And the next day Jess left in the middle of the night

to meet up with Patrick and start a life together.

They decided to move to Cedar Hills and bought the house 

right next door to Vibeke and Matt!

Upon moving into their new home, they made a few changes.

Patrick decided to ditch the beard.

No complaints from Jess!

And they both changed into different clothes too.

Jess and Patrick couldn't be happier!

They didn't have a big wedding either.

The two of them weren't making tons of money at their jobs, (yet), 

and being their new home cost a small fortune, they decided to 

exchange vows in the comfort of their living room.

Wedded Bliss

They put off starting a family until their finances were more lucrative

and when Jess was working as an astronaut, it happened.

Finances became a common topic at the dinner table.

But their financial planning paid off and they had nothing to worry

 about when it came to welcoming their first Nooboo.

It's A Girl!

Pattie is a Gemini with 3 Nice points.

Patrick and Jess love teaching their darling new daughter her skills.

Time is always so short with the toddlers 

and suddenly it was time for Pattie to Kid Up!

Pattie loves the color purple like her Mom.

She's a very pretty little girl.

And she loves talking about aliens!

Jess, Patrick and Pattie are a very happy family

and there's a lot more to share about them in the updates ahead.
